About the role:
CitrusAd provides e-commerce retailers with a SaaS digital advertising platform that unleashes the potential of online shelf space. Through its white-label Retail Media Platform, CitrusAd empowers retailers to monetise their site traffic using personalised advertisement solutions including Sponsored Product listings, Responsive Display Banners, Email advertising, Branded Landing pages, and much more.
The role of Senior Software Engineer is to lead areas of the design and development of Citrus’ software systems. This role will be familiar with all the policies, procedures, and technical issues related to programming. You will be generally competent across the majority of areas within the CitrusAd system and have a good understanding of how it functions together. As a subject matter expert in one or more areas of the system, you are the “go to” person when it comes to development for your squad. You will be responsible to:
- Mentor Junior and Intermediate Software Engineers by providing advice, coaching, and educational opportunities.
- Collaborate with the SVP of Technology and VP of Engineering, build and maintain development processes and procedures, in TDD (test-driven development) or BDD (behaviour-driven development), and build upon a core SDLC.
- Keep up to date on the newest technological innovations in the field and be ready to apply relevant innovations to our software systems.
- Collaborate with the Test and Release Manager, establish automation quality assurance test methods and procedures, incorporate new technologies and meet changing organisational, customer, and/or regulatory requirements.
- Develop software solutions by studying information needs; studying systems flow, data usage and work processes; following the software development lifecycle.
About you:
- Experience in developing Cloud-based methodologies and environments.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with the implementation of unit and integration testing.
- Experience with Java, Node or Go languages.
- Experience with Angular, TypeScript or RxJS.
- Relevant AWS or GCP or MCSD or other certifications.
- Ability to lead and negotiate business solutions that balance technical capability, cost, and time, against business needs
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
