This is a member-facing position with direct opportunities to build member relationships, fulfill our members' financial needs, and contribute to the Credit Union's growth.

 The main duties:

• Embrace PSCU’s culture, service standards, mission statement, and values.
• Provide outstanding service during each member interaction which may include but is not limited to opening accounts, handling teller transactions, determining members’ needs, and cross-selling appropriate products.
• Responsible for providing valuable input for loan approvals providing complete and accurate documentation for deposit accounts and loan origination, closing, and disbursement.
• Providing back-up to other departments, including tellers and call center, as needed.

The ‘must-have’ list:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of financial institution experience or member-facing role with customer service.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize work, exercise initiative, and meet deadlines.
• Eligible to be a notary public.
• Must have reliable transportation with the ability to travel between any PSCU branch locations.

 The wish list:

• Lending experience is a plus.

• Working hours – M-F 8:45 am – 5:15 pm, Rotating Sat 8:45 am – 1:15 pm.
• Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
• Starting Salary: $18 - $23 per hour DOE
• Location**: 7721 W 123rd St, Overland Park, Kansas
