The Onshape leadership team is looking for a VP of Operations. Onshape is a PTC SaaS business. This manager must be experienced with SaaS site reliability practices as well as being a strong Java developer and mentor.
Onshape provides a professional, SaaS Computer Aided Design (CAD) and design management service. We are deployed in multiple AWS regions globally and secure the designs of companies large and small. Onshape’s customers range from students and hobbyists to global brands like Trek and Garrett Advancing motion. Onshape is a global, highly distributed, complex service that replaces traditional CAD workstations with a SaaS platform that allows effortless collaboration on the design process. The ideal candidate will:
Work cross-functionally with sales, customer success, finance, product, marketing, and other stakeholders to share insights and centralize information
Exhibit a professional demeanor, exceptional attention to detail, and a strong sense of urgency to achieve outcomes and exceed expectations.
Possess strong organizational skills with the ability to frame a vision, strategy, and operating model to lead transformation with a high degree of accountability and urgency
Develop and execute strategies to accelerate market disruption and eventually revenue growth
Lead and manage the technical services and business strategy teams
Drive excellence across all areas of the organization
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives
Develop and implement metrics to track performance and progress towards key objectives
Ensure customer satisfaction through the delivery of high-quality technical services and solutions
Continuously identify and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency and effectiveness
Qualifications:
Experience in high-growth SaaS technology environments, preferably with a direct distribution model
Excellent interpersonal and communication
Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, computer science, engineering or related field
10 years of experience in technical services and GTM programs, with a focus on cloud-based CAD solutions
Proven track record of successfully leading and managing teams to achieve key objectives
Strong project management skills with experience in managing complex projects and programs
