Psychogeriatric Services is Hiring a Support Specialist Near Silver Spring, MD
Description
PsychoGeriatric Services is hiring! for a Full-time position at our administrative office in Silver Spring, MD. Our normal business hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Referrals Coordinators are responsible for verifying and assigning all referrals sent to our office and ensuring the smooth operation of the practice.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Verifying patient's insurance eligibility
- Creating and updating excel spreadsheets
- Responding to insurance verification emails for facilities
- Assigning referrals to multiple providers across our nursing homes in MD, DC, VA, and PA
- Creating new referrals list and billing sheets for new therapists
- Updating patient lists and records, including psychiatric medications
- Inputting patient billing information
- Replying to and sending emails
- Coordinating with providers to obtain required documentation
- Performing general research and filing
- Other duties as assigned
