psi has an opening for a qualified Title I Teacher in Uniontown. This position is 28 hours per week for grades 4-8. We are seeking a Title I Teacher to help serve children who have educational and developmental needs. The position is effective beginning in the 2022-2023 school year.

Responsibilities

Your mission as a Title I Teacher is to deliver a curriculum that ensures both teaching excellence and student success while providing a fun and rewarding learning experience. 

Essential Functions

• Deliver dynamic, engaging, and enjoyable lessons to our students.
• Maintain a classroom atmosphere that is conducive to learning.
• Prepare and update course materials, homework assignments, handouts, and prepare lesson plans based on competencies and learner goals.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development courses, and other internal or psi led meetings.
• Effectively communicate with school administrators and other staff members regarding students, site, instruction, or any issues that impact the performance of the class. 
• Assist in the pre-testing and post-testing of students and administer tests and quizzes to ensure learning. 

Qualifications

Experience

• Teaching - 1 year (required)

License/Certification

• Teaching license issued by ODE

Education

• Bachelor’s degree (required)
