A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN INTERVENTION SPECIALIST
As an intervention specialist, you deliver high-quality and dynamic intervention services across educational settings. You assess children academically in order to obtain the information necessary for intervention planning, consultation, and to develop instructional plans that help meet the functional and educational needs of each child served. Friendly and personable, you warmly interact with these children, always serving them with patience and kindness. The children we serve face a variety of developmental, educational, and social and emotional challenges they are working to overcome. You continually assess their needs and adjust intervention strategies in accordance with their progress. You collaborate with educational professionals and families to help them embed essential elements of skill-building into their daily classroom routines. Thoughtfully, you develop and provide personalized home activity suggestions to enhance children's abilities across settings. You use your intervention specialist expertise to improve the lives of children in ways that are enjoyable and rewarding!
