Work Schedule: Full time on-site supporting business hours of 8-5 CT Monday-Friday Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Under the direct supervision of IT Senior Management, the IT Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of any project in PSC’s IT department, which includes managing a team of employees to ensure projects are completed on time and within their specified budgets. Responsibilities include the following:

  • Leading the Project Management Office to oversee multiple active and proposed projects
  • Proposing, Drafting, Refining, and Maintaining Project Management policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Liaising with stakeholders such as project personnel, vendors, and end-users regarding project requirements.
  • Outlining, defining, and initiating the project.
  • Implementing document control policies and documentation templates.
  • Maintaining a good working knowledge of assigned component projects.
  • Evaluating standards of component products.
  • Monitoring & controlling project progress and implementing changes where necessary.
  • Monitoring & controlling expenditures in accordance with the budget.
  • Ensuring compliance with objectives, organizational policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Compiling project reports and informing management regarding problems.
  • Ensuring project complies with best practices, SOPs, PMO policies, and other policies.
  • Documenting lessons learned and performing formal project closure processes.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

  • PMP certification
  • Advanced computer skills and in-depth knowledge of different operating systems, network administration and service desk administration
  • Project management and leadership skills for managing projects and the teams involved with them
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with team members and management and explain technical issues
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to handle any issues that occur during project completion
  • Organization and time management skills to keep projects on track and within budget
  • Excellent resource planning and task scheduling skills
  • Proven ability to take initiative, work without supervision and initiate and close projects independently.
  • History of setting and achieving goals.
  • Experience managing ERP including full-cycle Implementations, upgrades, and targeted enhancements.
  • Experience managing custom software development projects
  • Experience managing infrastructure & other general IT projects.

Minimum Job Qualifications

  • 3 years managing IT Projects as a Project Manager.
  • Understanding of IT ticketing and Project Management systems.
  • Thorough understanding of project management fundamentals.
  • Understanding of software development life cycle.
  • Outstanding leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong people skills.
