Provident Healthcare Management manages Senior Care facilities and our mission is to improve lives of our residents and our employees. Our Team is Growing! We are looking for an IT Support Specialist who is thoughtful, organized, great communicator and a team player. You will be responsible for handling helpdesk tickets and projects related to technology, software, hardware and services for our corporate office, other locations, and remote employees. You will report to the President of Provident Healthcare and will work directly with the senior management team on strategic initiatives. Even though this maybe your first engagement in the healthcare industry, we are committed to providing thorough onboarding and training on our systems and processes to providing ongoing support byour technology partners.

Position Summary

IT Support Specialist will provide technical support to all Provident and Provident Managed Facilities & Staff, on a variety of issues, via telephone and email/chat channels. They will be responsible to identify, research and resolve technical problems utilizing effective tracking, monitoring, support tools, and documentation to ensure timely resolution. Responsibilities will include hardware lifecycle management, employee systems on-boarding/off-boarding. Consulting with and providing reports and relevant feedback to management.

Shift: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm (available to handle requests, as needed outside normal hours)

Job Description 

·Provide quality technical customer support for our end users in person or via tickets, emails, Microsoft Teams, and phone calls.

·Maintain Help Desk system, reviewing submissions throughout the day, resolving employee user requests and/or technology issues with communicated resolutions and follow-ups.

·Support and maintain partnership with Third Party Vendors for assistance in resolving hardware and software issues.

·Deploying and troubleshooting desktops, laptops, network equipment and mobile devices.

·Repairing damaged laptops.

·Troubleshoot printers, scanners, and fax machines.

·Work independently to complete larger technical projects.

·Maintains the equipment in server rooms, switches, modem, and router.

·Set-up, maintains company phone system, add numbers, delete numbers, update passwords.

·Maintains and enable 2-factor authentication of email addresses for prevention of cyber-attacks.

·Maintains the highest confidentiality protocols, securing and non-disclosing of tenant, employee, and company information and systems.

·Must be available to handle requests as needed outside of normal business hours. Must be available to handle emergencies 24/7.

·Ability to access emails on weekends and be available to resolve issues as needed.

·Document all help desk interactions in the appropriate ticketing tool Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention

·Track and route incidents and requests to appropriate groups and document resolutions

·Inform management of recurring problems

·Up to 30% travel

Qualifications

·Associate Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, CompTIA A , or equivalent work experience and technical knowledge.

·Working knowledge of fundamental operations of Azure AD, Microsoft 365, Windows, Microsoft Office, Apple/Mac, Chromebooks, and other emerging technologies

·Strong understanding of computer troubleshooting from hardware to OS to networking.

·Knowledge of relevant VoIP telephony systems & mobile device experience

·Remote/VPN technologies Experience in industry customer service best practices & supporting a corporate environment

·Related experience and training in troubleshooting and providing Help Desk Support

·Working knowledge of Power Query, Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps is a big plus.

·Self-driven, highly motivated, and team player.

·Proactive and responsive to team’s technical issues or questions.

·Strong customer service and communication skills when dealing with users with varying levels of technical literacy
