Laboratory Assistant - Swedish Edmonds 21601 76th(HR)

SCHEDULE: 0.5 FTE, Day Shift, Monday to Friday 0830-1230

Represent the Satellite Laboratory to the public, physicians, and patients while performing procedures that are necessary for specimen collection including patient identification, patient preparation, and verification of specimens according to laboratory procedures.

Required qualifications:

• H.S. Diploma or GED
• Successful completion of an approved phlebotomy program, through a post-secondary school, college, or military program.
• Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification Or
• Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification

Preferred qualifications:

• Prior phlebotomy experience.
