Medical Assistant - Internal Medicine Clinic for Swedish Medical Group (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) in Seattle, WA.

The MA works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed to assist in providing patient care to assigned patients. A MA performs all aspects of the AMA role and is fully competent in the clinical needs/functions for assigned clinic/location of work. An MA is expected to perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.

Required qualifications:

• Graduate of accredited school for medical assistants, or an equivalent combination of coursework, experience/training to qualify to sit for the WA State Certification exam
• Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 6 months of Healthcare experience
• 6 months of Medical Assistant experience

Preferred qualifications:

• Graduate of accredited school for medical assistants, or an equivalent combination of coursework, experience/training to qualify to sit for a National Certification exam
• Upon hire: National Medical Assistant Certification
