Job Summary: Coordinates scheduling within the manufacturing setting.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develops start and completion times to meet targeted production runs
• Receives customer orders and dispatches personnel, materials and other resources needed to ensure production process are completed in a timely manner
• Communicates with General Manager & Production Supervisor on matters of production control and staffing ability for specific skill sets.
• Projects forecasts and changes shifts as needed to meet production demand
• May have to assist in tracking inventory and coordinating with vendors and Purchasing for needed materials

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Planning & time management skills
• Problem/situation analysis knowledge

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Graduate (GED) required. 
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 6 or more years of experience in manufacturing preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Prolonged periods of standing in a manufacturing setting
• Production environment where proper PPE must be worn while working near/with equipment
• Manufacturing environment which temperatures drastically change from season to season
• Work week can be 40 hours
• Working around different chemicals, including but not limited to lubricants, solvents, batteries, cleaning fluids, paints, etc.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Environment where the following exposures exist: loud noise, bloodborne and airborne pathogens, infectious materials, fumes, toxic chemicals, moving mechanical parts, non-weather wet and/or humid conditions, etc.

TRAVEL: Little to no travel required
