ProStaff Solutions is looking for a Controller to work with a pharmaceutical company in Hawthorne, NY.
Direct HireHybrid (3 days in the office and 2 days remote)Job Summary:
Responsible for preparation, consolidation and analysis of accounting and financial reporting
Duties and responsibilities

Key financial leader in support of company activities
Responsible for the financial management of finance teams including Financial Reporting (IS, BS & SCF) & G/L, Customer Accounting G2N, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Government Pricing and Payroll
Oversee transactions to Order to Cash process teams, 3B Gross Sales
Direct report to Global CFO, provide global support and guidance to other finance teams in other countries as well as address parent company information requests
Ensure proper functioning of Finance dependent systems including SAP and Vistex systems, liaise with internal and external IT support teams
Coordinate external and internal auditors on an ongoing basis regarding Financial Reporting and Sox compliance
Provide operations and legal department finance input regarding the financial impact of proposed contract related transactions
Review consolidated financial statements for compliance with GAAP and SEC disclosures and SEC and other regulatory financial filings for foreign private issuer
Assist in review of financial press releases as required
Coordinate the timely calculation and payment of third party royalties
Support CFO and Treasurer in administration and controls over banking activity

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA, and thorough understanding of Accounting Principles.
10 years accounting experience, 4 years public accounting experience preferred.
Self-motivated with the ability to lead a team.
Working knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley required.
Thorough understanding of all phases of Accounting.
Strong systems skills are a must.
High level of technical, analytical and interpersonal skills with the ability to proactively resolve issues.
Working knowledge of manual and automated accounting systems in a manufacturing environment.
