About the roleIn this role, you shall deliver support to customers internal and external customers on Linux and related issues. This position is crucial to ensure robust technical support is provided to the PS & Support team and our customers. You contribute your knowledge and expertise about IT solutions in customer-facing activities. Based on your deep knowledge of Linux, you have created a world-class customer experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
Your focus will be on Support. As Linux System Administrator, your responsibilities are:

Requirements:

• Associate degree in technology-related field with 2 years of related work experience; 4 years of work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2-4 years of related work experience designing, developing, and performing Linux system administration duties.
• Experience performing systems administration tasks on RedHat Enterprise Linux 7 and 8, as well as derivative distributions on various vendor hardware platforms.
• Experience performing systems administration tasks on Ubuntu 20 and above
• Basic networking skills, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Able to analyze data, resolve problems and make decisions independently, and work in a team environment.
• Knowledge of restoration/storage services (i.e., NetApp/EMC hardware, software, tape management, disaster recovery practices)
• Knowledge of Scripting and Automation (i.e., Ansible, Perl, Bash, PowerShell, Shell Scripting, etc.)
• Have extensive experience installing, configuring, administering, and troubleshooting Linux Operating Systems.
• Familiarity with Linux environment automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Salt).
• 2 years of experience with Cloud-native technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• 2 years of experience with AWS technologies (e.g. EC2, ECS, EKS, ALB, RT 53 etc.)
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms.

Service Delivery related:• Reviewing feedback from customers, compiling and analyzing support data, and recommending technical changes as appropriate
• Successful implementation and customer support within the agreed-upon time frame of the delivered digital pathology solution.
• Providing remote support to installed base, contributing to knowledge transfer within the functional group and Concentriq systems as required. Maintain ongoing knowledge of Proscia’s application and client’s environments
• Participate in status calls with Client and Proscia’s representative as needed
• Participate in handling external and internal customer issues to resolution.
• Create knowledge base articles
• Monitor service desk queue for L3 and assist phones, and respond/resolve within agreed SLAs
