Property Manager is Hiring an Assistant Commercial Property Manager - Now Hiring Near San Francisco, CA

Job Description

Assistant Commercial Property Manager:

Under the direction and management of the Portfolio Asset Manager, this position is responsible for the day-to-day administration and implementation of those policies, procedures and programs that will ensure well managed and well-maintained commercial properties. This position will be assigned to specified action areas at the discretion of the Portfolio Asset Manager to best meet the needs of the portfolio.

Responsibilities
• Assist with tenant work orders and inquiries on an as needed basis. Follow up with tenants and/or contractors to confirm issues were resolved in a satisfactory manner.
• Follow up on certificates of insurance for tenants and vendors. Maintain tracking system.
• Follow up on payment of property taxes. Maintain tracking system.
• Obtain sales reports for the portfolio from tenants.
• Assist with the preparation of annual operating budgets, including obtaining bids, inputting amounts into Excel, etc.
• Assist with property inspections and oversee contractors as necessary.
• Assist with answering phones for the office and filing.
• Assist with other duties assigned including special projects as requested.
Qualifications
• Experience in and working knowledge of business/office administration.
• Ability to handle general administration of the property in the absence of the Portfolio Asset Manager or when otherwise called upon.
• Strong written and verbal skills, with the ability to produce communications and other materials that are effective and of a professional nature.
• Computer proficiency with strong knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, and the ability to learn new business specific software programs as needed; Mac and Yardi Voyager experience a plus.
• Self-starter with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with multiple deadlines and adapt readily to changing priorities.
• Ability to deliver superior customer service to tenants and clients.
• Ability to maintain an approachable, friendly demeanor when working with competing priorities and demands.
• Must be able to develop effective working relationships with co-workers, vendors, contractors, and tenants.

Education and Experience Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience a plus
•2 years of experience in real estate or property management a plus

Eligibility Requirements
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to legally work in the United States
• Must have valid driver’s license

Other Information
• Not a supervisory role
• Full-time position, Monday through Friday
