Propane Marketers Association of Kansas is Hiring an Office Administrator Near Topeka, KS

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to join our team as an Office Administrator. The Office Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our office operations and providing administrative support to the management team. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, be proficient in Microsoft Office, and possess a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing clients and processing payments • Manage day-to-day office operations including scheduling appointments, ordering supplies, and managing incoming and outgoing mail • Provide administrative support to management team including drafting correspondence, preparing reports, and arranging travel arrangements • Coordinate and schedule meetings, conferences, and other events • Maintain accurate records and files • Assist with HR duties such as employee onboarding and maintaining personnel records • Manage the company's phone and email systems, including answering calls and responding to emails in a timely manner • Ensure the office is tidy and well-organized, including ordering and maintaining office equipment • Assist with other tasks and projects as needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred • 2 years of administrative experience in a professional office environment • 4 years of experience working with QuickBooks for bookkeeping and accounting tasks • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office • Excellent organizational and communication skills • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Knowledge of HR practices and procedures is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $33,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
