Job Title: Director, Financial Planning & Analysis Company: Prologis The Opportunity: Prologis Essentials is creating the most convenient way for our logistic customers to get the products, services, and support they need to get operational. We are building a world class network of high-quality vendor partners beyond the traditional four walls of real estate. With a network that began with solar, LED lighting, material handling and everyday services, our product line continues to evolve with industrial products, workforce solutions, and robotics. Prologis Essentials is seeking an ambitious Director of FP&A, Essentials to scale our Essentials Platform. This position will be based out of Denver, CO. This is a very exciting yet challenging position that will support B2B, energy and mobility business lines; all expected significant growth over the next several years. In this role, you will be responsible for building out the financial planning & analysis group that will support all Essentials functions. This includes working with management to build out appropriate key performance metrics, perform analytics to help guide business decisions and managing the forecast process. We are looking for a self-starter who is versatile, can thrive in a fast-paced environment and think critically. Experience with B2B or renewable energy is ideal. This position will give the right candidate the opportunity to gain exposure to support different C level executives, multiple departments and advance their own knowledge and skills. What’s needed in order to do that: Oversee the forecast for all Essential pillars including implementing new processes, supporting new business lines, and implementing new systems where applicable Responsible for G&A (direct overhead) for all Essentials Manage monthly analytics including financial statement variances, KPIs, sales metrics, etc. to surface potential issues or actions required Work alongside the Prologis finance team to report on FFO, report Essential’s results for Prologis corporate model, investor relations requests, tax and various other ad hoc requests Own Essentials board slides, business plan decks, monthly reporting pack and any other reports as needed Build and improve all reporting and systems including coordinating within Essential’s finance teams, Prologis finance teams and other support functions Responsible for the consolidated reporting including reviewing new products/sales motions to ensure accounting treatment is accurately represented Manage analysts and associates effectively, providing leadership and training to the broader finance team Qualifications: 8 years of progressive finance role in high growth companies People Leadership: 3 years managing a team Relevant Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting preferred Exceptional attention to detail Experience collaborating cross-functionally to identify and solve common business issues, develop steps in improving processes, and implement to ensure future success Experience in problem solving to analyze, set priorities, and solve complex problems effectively and consistently Results orientated with strong decision-making skills and the ability to prioritize multiple objectives while meeting aggressive deadlines Excellent people leader, coach and communicator, with a team development focus Enthusiastic, outgoing personality, strong written and verbal communication skills A general understanding of B2B, Energy Industry, Industrial Real Estate a plus Must have legal authorization to work in the United States Hiring Salary Range of: $140,000-$171,000. Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target & LTI) to be determined by the candidate’s location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
