Project FIND’s mission is to provide low- and moderate-income and homeless seniors with the services and support they need to enrich their lives and live independently. Today Project FIND operates three supportive housing residences that are home to about 600 people and four senior centers with over 3,000 members. Our members and residents range from the healthy and active to the frail and homebound to the homeless. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and complete Move In & move out packets
• Send out the 120/90/60-day lease renewal notices that go out to the tenants
• A comprehensive understanding of how the lease up works for a Mitchell lama, Rent Stabilized & SRO housing development
• Maintain application and tenant files and ensure they are always organized and audit ready
• Maintain annotated waitlists for our properties
• Call qualified applicants off the waitlist and scheduling appointments to rent up the units.
• Ensure qualified applicants bring the correct up to date paperwork on their scheduled appointments.
• Help prospective tenants with the application process by explaining what they need to sign in the application form; this also involves answering whatever questions they may have regarding the forms they need to fill out.
• Perform credit and criminal background checks on qualified prospective tenants

• Assist with the collection and posting of rent
• Complete rent adjustments when necessary
• Request up-to-date income information and maintain knowledgeof 1st 2nd & 3rd party Income certification
• Greet visitors and residents in a professional manner
• Efficiently answer calls and respond to emails from interested applicants with correct information regarding their leases and/or application
• Keep Vacancy Report up to date on a weekly basis
• Perform other related tasks as assigned by supervisor(s)

Qualifications:

• High school diploma / GED required; Associate's degree preferred
• Prior leasing experience, preferably in a not-for-profit setting is preferred
• Experience working with third-party back-office service providers and with Yardi property management software is a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products is expected
• Must possess strong verbal and written communications skills
