We are currently looking for a Java Developer to join our Credit.com software development team, building REST web services using Spring and Hibernate. The ideal candidate will have the ability to rapidly develop fault tolerant, high speed and scalable Java applications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other relevant field
- 2-5 years of experience coding in Core Java or J2EE
- Service oriented architecture (SOA) experience
- Hands on in developing REST APIs
- Experience using Spring to implement dependencies between objects
- Experience using REST and SOAP to produce and consume web services
- Experience using Hibernate retrieve & update customer information from/to databases
- Experience using Maven to create structured layer, achieve dynamic dependency resolution and create a central repository for all project dependencies
- Experience using JUnit to test applications
- Experience using JNDI to connect the Java application to an external directory service
- Experience writing complex SQL Queries
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Experience with Heroku Cloud Application Platform
- Experience with Java Application Servers (i.e. WildFly)
- Experience with Windows and Unix OS
- Experience with SFTP, HTTP and HTTPS to communicate data across the internet
- Experience working in a fast paced, enterprise environment
