Description
The Peer Support Specialist serves as a role model, mentor, advocate and motivator to individuals with a history of mental health concerns and/or substance use to help promote long-term recovery and prevent relapse. The Peer Support Specialist demonstrates an ability to share personal recovery experiences and to develop authentic peer-to-peer relationships. Our program services adult and youth referred through the Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) in Milwaukee County. This position will support and assist consumers in working toward their individualized recovery goals.
PSG/CIP is a multi-service community-based social services organization that fulfills its mission of helping individuals and families to achieve their greatest potential through dynamic, cost effective and innovative programming responsive to the needs of diverse communities.

LOCATION & HOURS: Position is based at West Allis, WI office. Hours will vary, typicdally Monday-Friday between 9:00am to 5:00pm with occasional evenings to accommodate clients' needs.
SALARY: $15.00-21.00 per hour
