Professional Search Group (PSG) is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join a innovative technology company! The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for supporting the accounting department by preparing for and completing payments and controlling expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices. For 30 years this company has focused on designing and delivering cost effective solutions for predicting impact, measuring impact, tracking and guiding airborne objects. They develop cutting edge radar systems for the United States Department of Defense and Homeland Security. They specialize in radar solutions for predicting and measuring impact, tracking and guiding airborne objects, and fire control system production. Want to be a part of something big? Accounts Payable Specialist Duties:
- Full-cycle invoice processing of 100 invoices per week
- Complete two check runs per week
- Use 3-way matching process of all invoices
- Match supplier invoices with purchase orders and reconcile any differences
- Review accounts payable reports and determine which invoices to pay
- Update bank with positive pay records
- Provide administrative support to the Accounting team
- Assist with ad hoc projects as needed
Accounts Payable Specialist Requirements:
- MUST be US CITIZEN and MUST be ABLE TO PASS A SECURITY CLEARANCE CHECK ONCE HIRED
- Minimum of 2 years' accounts payable experience
- Experience using large ERP, Deltek Costpoint is preferred
- Microsoft Excel experience using pivot tables, VLOOKUPs is preferred
