Summary: The Senior Accountant provides financial information to management and other key decision-makers by analyzing financial data and preparing detailed reports on audit findings. The Senior Accountant maintains accounting principles, best practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements and reports.

*This is an in-office position and will require travel between Chino and Fullerton CA. 

Education/Experience: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from an accredited university
• 2 years’ CPA Firm experience
• 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Experience with ERP System Syspro, a plus

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following, as well as other duties that may be assigned.

• Oversees the month-end close experience
• General Ledger (G/L ) Analysis, Profit and Loss (P&L) variance analysis
• Journal entry preparation, and audit schedule preparation
• Administers journal entry preparation and entry
• Assists with preparing and monitoring budgets
• Supports special projects assigned by management
• Reviews monthly financial activity and prepares related financial analysis
• Maintains and reconciles General Ledger accounts
• Prepares bank reconciliations
• Assists with weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual audit preparations as required
