Position Overview: The Customer Service Representative provides product and order information, such as, but not limited to, pricing, specifications, availability and support to customers. Services incoming calls & e-mails to completion of transactions, while closing sales & providing outstanding customer service & quality products to customers and potential customers. Maximizes gross profits for the company on every order through pricing & managing costs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: includes the following, as well as other duties that may be assigned.

• Manages incoming telephone calls & e-mails professionally, timely, & efficiently, to completion on all transactions.
• Responds to customer questions and concerns immediately and facilitate to a satisfactory resolution.
• Provides pricing and delivery information from phone calls and web generated requests.
• Negotiates pricing, when necessary, to facilitate & close a sale, while maximizing gross profit dollars for the company.
• Processes orders to completion generated on the internet, sales order desk, telephone & through e-mail, in an efficient and timely manner, providing outstanding service and quality products.
• Provides shipping and expediting information on existing customer orders.
• Resolves customer invoice & billing questions.
• Resolves customer complaints resulting from damaged materials & filing customer and company freight claims when applicable.
• Sources & researches materials and their specifications with from manufacturers & our vendors.
• Collaborates with purchasing team to procure materials to fulfill orders or replenish & establish stock, to improve overall service to customers.
• Provides knowledge of product lines and applications to customers.
• Sells product line and maximize Gross Profit percentage on each order.
• Attends and participates in branch sales & training meetings.

Experience:  

• 2 years of CSR or equivalent experience preferred
• Strong computer knowledge including MS Office applications required
• Knowledge of Syspro preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• A proven track record of performing work accurately and thoroughly
• Demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels
• Collaboration with different groups to accomplish goals
• Demonstrated ability to excel in fast paced environment encompassing company growth and change
