Professional Physical Therapy is Hiring a PATIENT CARE COORDINATOR I Near Hoboken, NJ

Professional Physical Therapy is a leading provider of outpatient physical therapy and rehabilitation services in the Northeast and a certified Great Place to Work®. We are looking for receptionists to join an energetic team dedicated to patient care. Our administrative staff are just as integral to our success as our physical therapists. Ideal candidate for the position is an individual with exceptional customer and patient care skills, strong organizational skills, detail-oriented with an interest in a long-term position with potential for growth.

$1000 sign on bonus!

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients
  • Answer phones
  • Schedule patient appointments
  • Complete new patient registration and data entry
  • Discuss insurance benefits, authorization requirements and payment responsibilities
  • Collect patient balances (copay/deductible/coinsurance)
  • Perform standard day-to-day clinical administrative responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Must have the ability to exercise a high degree of diplomacy and tact, excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have excellent telephone skills; handling large call volume may be required.
  • Must be flexible, able to accommodate the changing needs of the facility.
  • Must have basic math skills; must be able to use standard office equipment.
  • Must be willing to work nights and/or Saturdays; must be able to work a rotating schedule between the hours of 7 AM and 8:30 PM.
  • Must have the ability to travel as required to perform job duties and cover other centers as needed.
  • Must be able to effectively use computer programs
