Professional Electrical Contractors of CT, Inc. is Hiring an Electrical Apprentice (Service Dept) Near Canton, MA

We are presently accepting resumes of second year commercial service helper electricians.

Our work involves - Retail, Academic, Healthcare, Renewable Energy, Fire Alarm & Large PV projects.
PEC is a 30 year Massachusetts based commercial electrical contractor with our corporate office being locate in Canton, MA.
PEC offers an above average hourly compensation - plus a $3.00 an hour incentive for working nights.

Primary Function:

  • Assist license electrician with the installation and repair of electrical wirings, equipment and fixtures.

Required Qualifications

  • Selected candidates must be willing to submit to a drug screen and lift test
  • Currently or have completed electrical education program.
  • OSHA 10 card
  • Read, understand and follow all safety policies (PEC, OSHA, GC's)
  • Follow OSHA guidelines
  • Be on time for work
  • Travel as needed
  • Attend state approved apprentice school (minimum of 150 hours)Have acquired a minimum of 2 year field experience
  • Know pipe bending
  • Physically capable of climbing ladders, kneeling, bending, working above your head
  • Able to lift 50 pounds
