Manufacturing Engineer II

Davenport, Iowa - Full Time

Productive Resources (www.productiveresources.com) is seeking a candidate to be part of our engineering team at our customer's facility in Davenport, Iowa. As a member of our team, the selected candidate will plan, coordinate, and perform manufacturing engineering work for a projector process. The candidate will operate in a team environment within either the enterprise product delivery process or the enterprise order fulfillment process.

This is a full-time position that is indefinite in duration with the opportunity of professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization.

Duties:

  • Establish routings, methods, layouts, tools, costs, methods documentation, quality plans, and labor standards for revisions to current operations and/or new parts or programs of moderate scope.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for current operations.
  • Investigate, gather, and analyze data and implement solutions.
  • Innovate and implement cost reduction, quality, safety, and ergonomic improvement ideas of moderate scope.
  • Apply electronic tools across a broad range of applications, including e-builds, modeling, and simulations.
  • Develop and implement plans to support lean manufacturing through the Deere Production System of moderate scope.
  • Design operations layouts.
  • Improve material flow and material presentation.
  • Analyze and make modifications to existing performance pay plans.
  • Assist in the development of baseline data for new performance pay plans.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Have a high degree of manufacturing problem-solving.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
