Productive Resources (www.productiveresources.com) is seeking a candidate to be part of our engineering team at our customer's facility in East Moline, IL. As a member of our team, the selected candidate will perform basic product design, testing and/or analysis work for a defined portion of a project. Operates in a team environment, providing input to design solutions and participating in design reviews. Develops recommendations within established guidelines; work and decisions are reviewed by supervisors before implementation.

This is a full-time position that is indefinite in duration with the opportunity of professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization.

Duties:

• Develop software test plans and perform field and lab tests on Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and machines
• Execute or review/approve test specification/test cases for software performance validation.
• Establish and track software test metrics (requirements to test case coverage, test case data, test results, defects found, defect escapes ...)
• Investigate and sustain software test process improvements

Requirements:

• Minimum B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or Computer Engineering
• Experience with on-machine testing
• Position requires driving for machine testing 10,001 - 26,000 pounds
• Experience designing, developing, testing, or integrating test requirements/test plan
• Experience in troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical/software/mechanical issues
• Experience working in a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated skills in the clear communication of technical data and project information
• Experience writing clear and concise documentation.
• Experience in embedded systems testing in one or multiple levels: Model-in-the-Loop (MiL),
• Software-in-the-Loop (SiL), Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) and Vehicle-in-the-Loop (VIL)
• ISTQB Foundation Level software testing certification (CTFL
• Good written and verbal communications skills
• Good organization skills
• Understanding of the basics of embedded controllers
