Job Description

Help build a multi-tenant SaaS serving 5000 global companies and join a team that’s redefining what product management systems can be. We’re scaling our engineering and our product to take on more complex customer challenges. You will have the chance to drive some of the big decisions and foundational platforms that help our whole engineering organisation accomplish that while remaining as fast, agile, and reliable as ever.

On a typical day, you will:

  • Define and communicate tribe-level technical strategy
  • Set processes to make sure every tech. investment is aligned with the strategy
  • Coordinate investments with another tribe to maximize business impact
  • Propose sequencing and execution plan for key technical initiatives
  • Report to senior leadership on significant investments status
  • Serve as a role model for less senior devs, mentor and coach them
  • Provide high-level feasibility feedback on long term product strategy

We work with the following frameworks, tools, and languages:

  • Frontend: TypeScript, React.js
  • Backend: TypeScript/Node.js, Ruby, Kotlin, Kafka
  • Storage: Postgres, Elastic, Redis
  • Data Pipeline: Python, Keboola, Looker, Snowflake
  • Infrastructure: AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform

About you:

  • Have both BE and FE coding proficiency in any language.
  • Experience designing and leading complex architecture changes in larger organizations
  • Experience with distributed systems
  • Strong communication skills - selling technical investments to a non-tech audience should be expected
  • Ideally, experience managing transition from an old (likely monolithic architecture) to microservices
  • Strong product mindset.
  • Able to make pragmatic technical decisions using business context
  • People management experience is an advantage.
  • B2B SaaS company experience is an advantage.
