About the Role: 

We are hiring a Customer Support Specialist to provide positive and responsive 1st line support to our existing customers primarily by email, chat, and phone. This role is critical in shaping the customer experience, as this position helps resolve customer issues and answer questions by becoming an expert in our platform and working collaboratively with teams to reach problem resolution and track issues.

We are looking for a positive and growth-oriented individual who gains satisfaction from learning new software and helping customers solve problems. You have strong communication skills, especially listening to fully understand customer challenges and asking good questions to pinpoint desired outcomes of the customers. Most importantly, you'll advocate for the customer internally by sharing their feedback with internal teams, helping us improve our systems and inform our product.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Utilize strong communication skills to demonstrate respect, empathy, and convey enthusiasm to resolve customer issues and answer their questions

  • Provide timely, effective, and friendly customer support and issue resolution via emails, phone calls, and chat.

  • Apply system analysis techniques and procedures by properly consulting users to determine the appropriate avenue or resource to achieve desired state of the customer

  • Evaluate customer needs while building productive long-lasting relationships to ensure customer renewal

  • Track and document client interactions in company ticketing system (Salesforce Service Cloud)

  • Review and test new application development prior to release to production

  • Maintain an awareness of all aspects of customer needs, and proactively provide feedback recommendations for constant product improvement

  • Monitor all product updates and make required revisions to documentation as needed to be released

  • Use internal customer knowledge base (Salesforce) to research and take appropriate corrective action

  • Thoroughly and independently research and problem solve all tickets prior to escalation

  • Perform other duties as assigned

About You:

  • Associate’s degree in business, marketing, technology or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that would provide the required abilities

  • Experience in client support and/or account management with a record of outstanding service

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

  • Excellent writing, editing, communication and interpersonal skills required.

  • Possess excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously

  • Able to give and follow complex directions

  • Ability to analyze problems and identify appropriate alternatives.

  • Able to work independently with minimal supervisor

  • Able to work effectively with co-workers, subordinates and supervisors and clients
