The Opportunity and Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Controller, this full-time role will help define and manage our Accounts Payable process for the organization. Previously, our Accounts Payable (AP) administration was handled by a third-party and we are in the process of implementing the systems and processes to manage AP internally.

• Assist in the implementation of our new ERP and the Procure to Pay process within NetSuite
• Help define the internal Accounts Payable process for our organization for direct and distributed purchases
• Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.
• Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
• Address and respond to vendor and/or internal customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Assists in day-to-day processing of vendor data, invoices, and payments in accordance with timelines outlined by the organization
• Maintaining and managing our vendors and the onboarding and off boarding process
• Continually improving the procure to pay process

Requirements

• 5-7 years experience in managing the Accounts Payable process
• Oracle Netsuite experience is a plus
• Must have the ability to analyze and solve problems, prioritize tasks and work independently.
• The candidate must be detail oriented and possess excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment are essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have the flexibility to handle various job assignments.
