The Opportunity

Under the direction of the Rev Ops SVP and the Rev Ops Director, the Salesforce Administrator will lead the ongoing maintenance of Salesforce.com, deployment for lead generation, marketing, and other business development efforts. A successful candidate will have an in-depth knowledge and experience in improving and implementing processes, workflows, increasing user adoption on Salesforce.com. The admin will become the subject matter expert to identify, develop and deploy new business processes, including building fields and functionality on the lead, account, and opportunity object to support and enhance marketing tracking, migrate lead processes from Pardot to SF, administering tools to support lead gen efforts and help improve the efficiency of Rev Ops and other revenue generating teams.

This role is part technical, part project management, part administrator and part Salesforce analyst, supporting Marketing, Sales, Member Success, Implementation, Account Management, other Revenue Ops members; Partners with IT and other system admins at PA. The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for executing on the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of our CRM platform, including - identifying related technology functions, including user account maintenance, efficient workflows, data integrations, analytical reports, and dashboards, implementing user friendly best practices, training and communicating changes, and other routine tasks to support across all revenue-generating teams. The role provides analytical support to the Executive leaders at PA. 

  • Serve as the primary system administrator for the Sales, Marketing and lead generation side of the Salesforce.com environment with, owning the development and enhancement of the Lead record object, as well as collaborating on Accounts and Opportunity records.
  • Manage Salesforce data feeds and integrations with Outlook, internal systems, DocuSign, Pardot, ZoomInfo, BI Tools, Jira & other third-party applications.
  • Design and build configurations within Salesforce and collaborate with the IT team where needed.
  • Actively audit and promote system health, data integrity by determining potential errors in the system and driving resolution and improvements on Salesforce through research. 
  • Interact with users across the organization up to the highest level to gather, analyze and understand business requirements, translating them to viable business solutions using the current Salesforce and other tech platforms footprint.
  • Collaborate with different teams to facilitate user experience-based feedback loop.
  • Recommend improvements, automations, industry best practices to the current process/systems/workflow.
  • Manage dashboards, reports, forms, templates, page layouts, workflows, and approval processes.
  • Support the evaluation, implementation, and adoption of integrated applications connected to Salesforce.com.
  • Follow and understand Salesforce’s latest product and technical capabilities and functionalities from new product releases, updates, events, and User Communities
  • Document workflows, best practices, and tips on Salesforce usage on a regular basis on Confluence to help platform adoption and support as necessary.
  • Develop training material and train new users and new features, enhancements, or changes to the system. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

This role is new and impactful and will work cross-functionally and gain the experience of working closely with the Senior leadership, to support all revenue generating activities through Salesforce. The role is perfect for someone who has strong technical background, is inquisitive about business processes, organized, able to learn quickly, results-oriented and loves taking initiatives while paying close attention to detail. 

We are seeking collaborative, driven, self-starter and energetic candidates with strong understanding of Salesforce, other technology platforms, prior knowledge of systems integrations, along with strong project management, analytical, and communication skills. The candidate will execute and deliver goals with minimal supervision using their prior Salesforce experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree is required, with a focus on Computer Science or Business Preferred.
  • 3-5 years of knowledge and hands on experience as a Salesforce Administrator. Salesforce certifications and Salesforce Administrator training, and project management is preferred. 
  • Experience with technology platforms and a solid understanding of CRM and processes to drive.
  • Understanding of functional requirement and ability to map them into Salesforce features and functionality.
  • Proven ability to design and implement new user-friendly processes and facilitate user adoption of Salesforce.
  • Ability to bring alignment between architectural strategy and business requirements
  • Experience performing analysis of the current architecture to identify weaknesses and develop opportunities for improvements.
  • Strong analytical and business skills: Proficiency in data analytical and visualization tools – MS Excel, BI tools, SQL is a must ability to use quantitative data and build models/reports to solve problems and create value.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced, high-growth organization. Results driven with the ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce and all upstream and downstream applications, systems, and processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and presentations skills
  • Ability to efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously and manage day-to-day priorities.
  • Ability to take initiatives, build rapport and collaborate with others internally and externally, including the executive team.
  • Ability to train new users and less experienced employees.
