POSITION SUMMARY: The Material Handling Engineering Manager leads a team of engineers and designers and will oversee all daily operations of the Department, with hands-on involvement, to design products and projects from order receipt through final detailing in an engineer to order (ETO) environment. The position will develop employees and monitor use of design standards within the group. This role will also ensure accuracy of the drawings, bill of material (BOM), and ERP. The Material Handling Engineering Manager will assist in development of cost effective and product improvement strategies for existing products. They also will lead value-engineering projects to ensure designs are up to industry standards and are competitive.
