We are seeking a motivated virtual occupational therapist to join our team, serving a school district in Washington. This role involves providing remote therapeutic interventions using advanced technology to enhance students' functional abilities and overall well-being. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for supporting student development in an online educational setting, utilizing their expertise in occupational therapy to deliver effective, individualized care. Responsibilities:

• Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and student goals, focusing on enhancing functional skills and participation in academic and social activities.
• Deliver teletherapy sessions using evidence-based interventions and virtual tools to address students' occupational therapy needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to integrate therapy goals into the virtual classroom and home environment, providing strategies and accommodations to support student success.
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy interventions as needed, using data-driven decision-making to ensure effective outcomes.
• Provide consultation and training to school staff, parents, and caregivers on strategies to support students' occupational therapy goals in remote learning settings.
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and communication with stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Recent experience working as an occupational therapist in a school setting.
