Positions Offered:
- Rear-Load Driver
- Front-Load Driver
- Automated Side-Load Driver
- Roll-Off Driver
Responsibilities
- Transport trash, refuse, recycled materials, etc to predetermined locations.
- Pre- and post-trip inspections of any vehicle to be operated while on duty.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations, as well as with company policies and procedures
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Report defects, accidents or violations to supervision
- Assist loader as needed for heavy, or bulky, items
Skills
- Proven work experience as a truck driver
- No recent moving or driving violations
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
- Valid CDL Drivers license, with current medical card
