Job Summary

We are a private security firm with an exciting opportunity for an On-Site Security Director to oversee the personnel and security program administration at our client site.

The Security Director will work autonomously to ensure high service standards are met on a consistent basis for the safety and security of our client. Responsibilities include:

• Interviewing and selection of security staff
• Conduct onboarding and training
• Create and implement policy
• Review and submission of payroll
• Act as the company/client liaison
• Coaching and counseling with staff
• Responsible for meeting site goals to minimize overtime
• Review of officer activity to ensure consistent program administration
• Schedule all Security personnel, approve time off requests and manage call off procedures

The ideal candidate will posses previous managerial experience in the contract security field, law enforcement, or military. Managerial experience in a 24 hour operation in logistics/transportation or the agricultural industry would also be highly preferred.

• Interviewing/hiring skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience in a fast paced, 24 hour environment
• Proven customer service experience
• Large site scheduling for multiple staff members
• Knowledge of the logistics, trucking, or hauling industry
• Knowledge of the agricultural or food manufacturing industry
• Knowledge in site safety/security program administration
