Job Title: Bookkeeper and HR Associate
Department: Administration
Reports to: CEO, COO, Director

Position Summary
We would like to hire a Full Time Bookkeeper/Office Manager. He/She will be responsible for the day-to-day ongoing finance procedures, including assisting in establishing and monitoring our accounting system (QB), AP/AR, bill paying and collecting receivables, and maintenance of all necessary financial records. This position will also assist with payroll and various aspects of Human Resources, including hiring, onboarding, and employee benefits. He/she will also be responsible for issuing purchase orders to our vendors. To do well in this role you should have previous experience as a Bookkeeper, Human Resource experience, and have used Quickbooks.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
· Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
· Reconcile sales taxes, payroll taxes, 401k, and bank accounts at the end of each month.
· Monitor financial transactions and reports.
· Process accounts receivable and payable.
· Process checks.
· Understand ledgers.
· Issue purchase orders to our vendors.
· Assist employee’s with the on-boarding of the companies benefit packages.
· Work with an accountant when necessary.
· Handle bi-weekly payroll using accounting software.
Education and Experience Requirements
· Bachelor's or Associate's degree in accounting or business administration. Excellent knowledge of general accounting principles.
· Knowledge of bookkeeping software.
· At least 2 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably within a business-services environment.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Attention to detail and accuracy of work.
· Experience with accounting software such as Quickbooks,
· Able to prepare, review and understand a financial statement.
