PrismHR is Hiring a Remote Accounting Manager

We are looking for a highly motivated person with a CPA certification to join a rapidly growing SaaS company. As the Accounting Manager, you will oversee an accounting team consisting of two Accountants. The Accounting Manager will work alongside the Controller, the Payroll Operations Director, and the Professional Services Director supervising the monthly close and reporting process. This is a perfect opportunity for someone looking to really propel their career, and obtain a highly visible role, within a dynamic, growing organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Professional Services billing and revenue recognition process
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and customer billing processes
  • Supervise the monthly close and reporting process
  • Support Corporate Finance Transformation activities including migrating customer contracts to the Corporate ERP/GL Systems to automate billing and revenue recognition
  • Drive process improvements and automation of payroll processing recordkeeping.
  • Support the Corporate team in connection with the with the annual financial statement audit

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
  • CPA Required
  • 7 years of relevant experience in Finance or Accounting
  • Experience managing staff and ensuring timely completion of their assignments
  • Prior exposure to working within the Software Industry, with SaaS revenue recognition experience preferred
  • Prior experience with payroll processing and related payroll tax and recordkeeping
  • Proficiency with accounting systems and ERPs (Sage Intacct, Great Plains, Salesforce, Financial Force preferred)
  • Strong Excel skills required
  • Ability to work on cross functional teams, as well as to work well alone
  • Ability to complete projects/reports within established deadlines
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, resourceful, and follow through skills
  • Must be able to work in ever-changing environment and be self-directed
  • Ability to juggle and manage multiple projects effectively
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent team player with the ability to thrive in a culture of collaboration
