Printville is a solid, proven, and reputable company with over 13 years of success and customer loyalty. We are expanding and seeking a Print Production Specialist to join our team. We are searching for a talented individual who understands printing and production technology in a commercial printing environment.

What you'll be doing:

We are looking for someone who can apply their experience to understanding digital color, black & white output devices, traditional offset, large format output. Your communication and trouble-shooting skills will be used every day. In addition, the following responsibilities will be expected:

• Operate and calibrate production printers across multiple sites
• Produce accurate and high quality printed materials in compliance with job specifications
• Coordinate maintenance and repairs with service technicians
• Responsible for imposition, color calibration, and light bindery
• Responsible for purchasing and tracking stocks as well as machine consumables
• Review daily production schedules and print orders
• Ensure job instructions are verified in various manufacturing systems
• Coordinate production of orders with multiple internal sites and vendors as required
• Troubleshoot mechanical and printing issues. Make adjustments and corrections to meet production and quality standards
• Working with internal project managers, briefing and advising them with regard to print production and time lines.
• Ensuring deadlines are met and material is printed to the highest quality
• Perform other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.

We provide our solutions to both consumers and businesses that will benefit from many of our full product and service offerings: digital and offset printing, creative design, direct / bulk mailing solutions, architectural reproductions, wide format color production (vinyl and other substrates).

What you'll need:

• 5 years experience in commercial print industry or related experience
• Familiarity with bulk mailing requirements, protocols and related software
• Strong familiarity Adobe CS Suite, PDF Files, Microsoft Office Suite, knowledge of both Mac & Windows Operating Systems.
• Superior customer service in handling projects both over the phone, in person, and over email.
• Ability to quickly perform basic math and absorb order specifications in fast-paced environment.
• Must be a team player, able to work in an open, supportive environment
• Ability to work independently and proactively in fulfilling business needs.
• Highly developed organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining focus.
• Positive attitude towards daily work, co-workers, and clients.
• Ability to lift up to 20-40 pounds on a consistent basis

Compensation: Pay commensurate with experience.

Pay: $17.50 - $22.00 per hour
