$2k Sign-on Bonus Electrician Pay Range- $22.40 to $33.60 Printpack Rigid is seeking a candidate to fill an Electrician Position in our Williamsburg Facility, reporting to the Maintenance Group Lead. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Use a wide range of mechanical blueprints to perform tear down and rebuilds of manufacturing production equipment and components. Working knowledge of electrical control systems Be able to wire and verify operation of 3 phase, single phase and DC motors according to electrical schematics. Experience with PLCs, VFDs, DC Drives, Control Circuits, electrical troubleshooting Ability to follow mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic layouts. Demonstrate knowledge of plant and process safety rules, safe operating methods, and good housekeeping. Conduct Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High school graduate or GED required Must be able to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including every other weekend Proficiency in using manual and power tools Ability to trouble-shoot/repair mechanical/hydraulic/pneumatic problems Ability to read electrical schematics Ability to read mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings Ability to check fuses; wire motors; repair lighting issues Ability to lift 90 lbs Ability to work well in a team environment Preferred Additional Requirements 3 years industrial maintenance & electronics/electrical experience or a combination of industrial experience and vocational/military education Proficient with Microsoft applications and computerized maintenance software Industry certified PLC training a plus but not required Printpack is proudly an equal opportunity employer.
