Printpack, a leading manufacturer of flexible packaging products, is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Electronics Technician for the Prescott Valley, Arizona, Converting Plant. This position will report to the Maintenance Manager. Pay: $27.19 - $34.00 per hour, depending on experience, plus $2.50 shift premium for hours worked between 7pm - 7am Schedule: Night shift 5:00pm-5:00am on a 3/2 schedule, after training is complete. Read electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic schematics and identify operation of system Read and Understand PLC Ladder Logic Understand and apply National Electrical Code to projects and installations. Install, operate and maintain electrical and electronic equipment and systems Inspect and test electronic equipment using multi-meters, ammeters Troubleshoot 24V analog and digital circuitry, electric motors and identify failures in the plant Set up and troubleshoot VFDs Install, Program and Troubleshoot and Repair Heating/Cooling Controllers, AC/DC motor drives, PLC systems, and production equipment Troubleshoot mechanical systems and identify and repair mechanical malfunctions Recommend changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly & maintenance Monitor installed equipment to identify potential failures Minimum Requirements & Preferred Qualifications: High School diploma or GED Minimum five years Electronic Technician experience Able to effectively redirect efforts on short notice Proficient computer skills Good attitude and willingness to learn Strong Troubleshooting Skills Understand Three Phase Electrical systems up to 480V Understand PLC and AC/DC Drive Software Arc Flash Codes and Requirements Experience in Control and PID Loops Cross-functional team player Printpack is proudly an equal opportunity employer.
