Description

The Account Manager is responsible for locating in-network providers, confirming provider participation, nominating out-of-network providers, running client centric reports, and various other functions. This position serves as a key resource for the Client Services and Sales teams, aiding in the acquisition, growth, and retention of clients. The Account Manager is responsible for ensuring client needs are met internally and is the client’s main point of contact. This position reports to the Manager of Account Management.

Essential Job Functions

• Respond to all client requests for information via phone or email
• Populate a variety of client specific reports
• Verify provider billing information and demographics via phone
• Update provider information in the PHS internal system as needed
• Assist individuals and injured workers with locating in-network provider options
• Assist with special projects as required

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Communications, or related field of study from an accredited college or university
• 1 years of customer service experience, preferably in the healthcare industry
• Experience working in a deadline driven environment

Physical Requirements

This is a largely sedentary role, however while performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear and is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Some light lifting may be required (i.e. the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing on a stool as necessary).
