WHILE YOU’RE PART OF OUR TEAM

This internship is designed to provide an opportunity to gain work experience through the participation in high-visibility, value-add projects within the Information Systems department. The program is designed to expose interns to the lifecycle of project work, including discovery, proof of concept, data preparation, and implementation.

Experience and Skills You Will Gain At Prime Buchholz

The candidate will rotate through the three business units within Information Systems over the course of the internship. Each rotation will consist of exposure to the day-to-day operations of the team and assigned project work.
Document Management Team

• Participate in the review of document retrieval and retention methods in an effort to source more automated solutions

Data Analyst Team

• Update and report on key service provider changes related to recommended managers
• Utilize FactSet, Morningstar, and eVestment to identify process improvements for data retrieval and input into our primary research system
• Participate in the review and analysis of data analyst-related external reporting for efficiencies and consolidation

Business Analyst Team

• Participate in all facets of project work related to the QuickBase platform in order to assist in the enhancement of companywide internal processes and procedures
• Utilize Tableau to create and distribute management reports from our internal reporting pipeline
• Lead project initiatives as assigned and present findings to the relevant stakeholders.

GETTING OFF TO A STRONG START
The ideal candidate for the Prime Buchholz Business Analyst Summer Intern role will bring with him/her a foundation of skills and knowledge that include the following:

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university entering junior or senior year in the fall; investment, finance, computer science, information systems, and other business majors preferred
• Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Office products; proficient in Excel
• General investment knowledge and interest
• Must demonstrate commitment, dependability, and respect for other employees with regular attendance, punctuality, and adherence to agreed-upon schedule of availability
• Excellent attention to detail, with strong communication and organizational skills
• Must be a team player with effective time management skills and the ability to multi-task
• Minimum GPA of 3.0

PROGRAM FACTS

• You will work in a professional, fast-paced office environment.
• Please be prepared to work in a stationary, cubicle-based environment. This work occasionally may be intermixed with other related tasks, including lifting/pushing/pulling of up to 20 pounds.
• Please expect to work a standard, 40-hour week (8:30 a.m.–5 p.m.) with overtime as required.
• Internship is June 5th – August 18th, 2023.
• The internship program pays $17.00 per hour.
