The ideal candidate is responsible for maintaining the financial records of this private rehabilitation facility company and accurately record the day-to-day financial transactions.

Responsibilities:

· Compling and organizing documents, such as invoices and checks, and substantiating business transactions

· Reviewing all invoices for approval prior to payment

· Verifying, details of business transactions, such as funds received and disbursed, and totals, accounts

· Computing and recording charges, refunds, cost of lost or damaged goods, freight charges, rentals, and related items

· Responding to vendor inquiries

· Reconciling vendor statements

· Inputing vouchers, invoices, checks, account statements, reports, and other records

in accounts payable system

· Generating checks for payment in QuickBooks

· Auditing and processing credit card bills.

· Preparing bank deposits

· Reconciling bank statements

· Assisting with monthly and year end audit and ad hoc reports

· Assisting with coordinating/preparing payable payroll Bi-weekly

· Running necessary reports for enrollments and terminations for all employees, pertaining to AP for Benefit Enrollments

· Performing special projects and other duties related to administration and/or financial needs become necessary from time to time

Qualifications:

· Associates degree Finance, Accounting or Business Administration

· Bachelor’s degree in the same fields preferred

· Knowledge of completing General Ledge entries

· Some knowledge or understanding of GAAP

· Knowledge of Accrual & Cash Basis accounting

· Must have knowledge of Excel

· 2-4 years' experience in health care or allied industry preferred

· Knowledge of QuickBooks preferred

· Process excellent multitasking and time management skills

· Excellent communication abilities

· Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (and be able to show proof)
