PRESTIGE is Hiring a Nursing Home Administrator Near Millsboro, DE

Atlantic Shores Rehabilitation & Health Center is currently seeking a DE licensed Nursing Home Administrator to manage a 181 bed long term care / skilled facility in Millsboro, DE. Our ideal candidate is a dynamic and innovative leader with at least 3 years of experience operating a comparable size skilled nursing setting.

Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA):

  • Must be a DE Licensed Nursing Home Administrator
  • Only those possessing an active Nursing Home Administrator's license should apply
  • The ideal candidate will have prior managerial experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility
  • Prefer three plus (3 ) years experience as a nursing home administrator
  • Can demonstrate strong leadership ability
  • Excellent Federal and State survey history
  • Possesses effective communication skills

The incumbent is responsible for the overall management of facility operations. Plans, develops, directs, monitors and supports all operational, administrative, clinical, human resources, customer service and fiscal activities for the facility's programs and services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • The Licensed Nursing Home Administrator ensures the quality and appropriateness of resident / patient care meets or exceeds company and regulatory standards.
  • The Licensed Nursing Home Administrator ensures compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, accreditation and reimbursement guidelines and standards.
  • The Licensed Nursing Home Administrator manages budget for facility. Monitors monthly performance of facility in relation to budget and intervenes as needed.
  • The LNHA recruits, hires, provides orientation/training, and retains a sufficient number of qualified staff to carry out facility programs and services. Ensures employee performance meets or exceeds expectations and periodic performance appraisals are conducted on a timely basis.
  • The LNHA makes sure facility is a safe, clean, comfortable, and appealing environment for residents, patients, visitors and staff in accordance with company and regulatory guidelines.
  • The LNHA ensures all required records are maintained and submitted, as appropriate, in an accurate and timely manner.
  • The Licensed Nursing Home Administrator completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.
  • The LNHA manages all aspects of state or federal government survey processes.
  • The LNHA is responsible for grievance process from residents, patients, employees, etc.
