Description

The Foothills Retirement Community is looking for a Bistro Attendant to create a positive customer experience by providing made to order menu items, helpful and friendly service, and maintaining a clean and organized café.

Responsibilities & Skills

· Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)

· Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment

· Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)

· Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served

· Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen. Monitor sanitation procedures for daily, weekly and monthly schedules

· Monitor all hot and cold temperature logs daily

· Ensure all food and other items are stored properly

· Check quality of ingredients
