Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate activities of dock workers and other personnel involved in loading and unloading trucks.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
• Plan and schedule dock operations to optimize workflow and minimize downtime.
• Train and mentor dock personnel on best practices and safety procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate recording of shipments.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate logistics and transportation activities.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years proven experience in a supervisory role within logistics, transportation, or a related field.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Ability to lift to 50lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 per year

• Evansville, IN: Relocate before starting work (Required)
