We are currently seeking a dedicated PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to contribute to our partner’s skilled nursing facility located in Bellefonte, PA. Collaborate effectively with both therapy and facility teams to deliver exceptional care.
Provide education and support to family members and caregivers regarding therapy processes.
Participate in facility training sessions and in-service programs to promote ongoing learning.
Attend care plan meetings to discuss resident progress and contribute to treatment strategies.
Maintain accurate daily documentation of resident care activities.
Work closely with the supervising Physical Therapist to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
Required Skills
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to foster effective collaboration.
Proficient understanding of physical therapy principles and practices.
Competent in daily documentation and compliance with healthcare standards.
Qualifications
Valid Physical Therapist Assistant licensure in Pennsylvania.
Previous experience in a skilled nursing environment is preferred but not mandatory.
A genuine passion for improving the quality of life for residents through dedicated care.
Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
