The Health and Wellness Coordinator is an integral part the care team that helps change the lives of our residents each day. As the Health and Wellness Coordinator you are responsible for providing support to the managers of the day to day clinical services of the community. To include:
· Direct supervision of certified and non-certified clinical employees
· Providing a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individual residents' needs and rights
· Coordinates training and education of resident care staff on an ongoing basis.
· Assists the health and Wellness Director in medication management, including the administration of medications to residents, ordering medications from pharmacy and maintaining records per company policy.
