Directing the day to day function of the unit to ensure that the nursing activities are in accordance with current rules, regulations and guidelines that govern the Community. Must be able to communicate effectively with residents and fellow employees at all levels. The candidate must have current Registered Nurse /Licensed Nurse Practitioner Licensure in the state of Pennsylvania, and current CPR certification. Successful experience as a Charge Nurse/Supervisor is strongly preferred. Employee must be physically and mentally able to perform essential job functions which require significant standing, walking, and physical care of residents, including lifting. Talking and hearing essential, near visual and color vision required to detect changes in resident conditions.
