The Maintenance Director is an integral part the leadership, Emergency Preparedness and Maintenance team that helps enhance the lives of our patients and residents each day. You will work to ensure the building, equipment and environment is well maintained for the well-being of residents and the ability of staff to function efficiently. Some responsibility highlights include:
Physical plant and facility structure inside and outside
·Equipment maintenance and repair including boiler rooms, kitchen/laundry equipment, HVAC
·Setting department priorities in conjunction with the Facility Administrator and Regional Director, assigning responsibility to Maintenance Techs and following up to insure the work is well done and on time
·Ensuring compliance with State Life Safety regulations
·Safety Committee
·Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement
Required qualifications:
Three or more years of facility maintenance management experience within a long term care facility.
·Have proven leadership and the technical skills to effectively manage facility operations
·Through knowledge of Pennsylvania Life Safety Regulations and have experience with annual state surveys.
·Some experience with plumbing, simple electrical repairs and other building maintenance such as lock installation, repairing hospital beds, etc.
