Summary:
The Radiology Technologist abides by the legal boundaries of practice based on the knowledge and statutes of the designated State Radiology Technology Board of Examiners and State Professional Occupational Standards. Within the state, the employee performs only those acts, functions or task that the Radiology Technologist is licensed, qualified, trained, knowledgeable and/or skilled to perform. The employee follows and implements the rules and regulations set forth by the standards of practice. The Radiology Technologist accepts responsibility for individual actions and continued competence and will complete all competencies and proficiency training required by company policy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Requirements
Education and/or Experience State Licensure and American Registry Licensure are required.
Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Reasoning Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of EMR DocuTAp, Excel Spreadsheet software and MS Word Processing software.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Current State Radiology License; Current American Registry of Radiology Technologist License; Other State specific licensure and certifications; Basic Life Support Certification is required.
